September 1st:
We now have a page devoted to just movie clips. There are
currently only four movies clips there, but we hope to add more soon.
August 14th:
We just added a video clip of Moira laughing. In this clip, she is just three
and a half months old. Earlier in the day Grandma Grant had found a tickly spot. The file is 5+MB in size, and is an
MPEG. If anyone prefers a different file format, please let me know.
August 5th:
I believe that the speed that Moira is growing is inversely proportional to the speed
that I seem to update this website. She's been growing that fast...
Moira recently had her six month checkup, everything was good. She's bigger for her
age (taller and heavier) than 95% of other six-month olds.
She has started eating solids, and quite enjoys the resulting mess. She is
also holding herself up on her hands and knees, but isn't quite able to crawl yet.
Most times she tries to lunge forward, but her knees, not having any tread, tend to
slide backwards. Repeatedly rolling over is still a reliable standby though.
Moira has also figured out that we share the house with another small critter, that
being Pumpkin. Pumpkin doesn't seem to be bothered by Moira, and often times comes
right up to her - despite Moira's taking what seems like a handful of fur everytime. It
must bother Kirsti & I to watch more than it does Pumpkin. When we've seen this, we've
cleaned her hands, otherwise we might have the only six-month old coughing furballs.
