This was the 1st time we had visited Alder Lake, and were unsure what to expect. The lake was excellent though, and the weather just as nice. The park itself was somewhat noisy and crowded, though the lake made up for that.
As we could not find any other free weekend, we made this a part of our daddy-daughter camping trip as well. Nate and Chris came out on Saturday morning with Marynne and Kendra, and we managed to canoe around a part of the lake and even find a nice swimming hole.
