This Memorial Day weekend we camped at Deception Pass State Park. It has been a few years, and we have always had fun, even if the weather usually seems a bit cool. This year the temperature was close to 80 in Seattle, and was probably 8 to 10 degrees cooler where we camped. Perfect. While there we took in the sites at the park, and also drove into Coupeville for an afternoon.

Our first morning, and we have walked to the beach on the south end of the park. There is quite a bit more sand here, and the kids got to play.

Connor here has refused to take his shoes off, and he was also worried about getting them wet. His solution was to build a "bridge" to get across this small piece of water.
