Dad was diagnosed in 2009 with ALS, and that summer he was not too symptomatic yet. We all went to Fort Flagler that July with quite a few very good friends, and had a great time visiting, seeing the sites, and enjoying one anothers company. Now in 2018 (I'm late posting these!) the kids have grown up, and a few of us are worse for wear, but we should plan one of these again.
