Memorial Day weekend 2015 we decided to try a new to us campground, Salt Creek Recreation Area. The park was smaller than Fort Flagler, but had a lot of the same kind of scenery, beaches to explore, and some great trails. The girls each brought a friend, and I think we all had a great time. On the way home we took a small detour and stopped at Fort Flagler State Park to do a little exploring there.
