Last Labor Day weekend Karen and Craig tried a new park, Sun Lakes State Park, and enjoyed it. This year we followed along, and had a good time, despite the scorching temperatures. There were quite a few places to explore, and we saw more wildlife than expected, as well. All in all, a fun trip.

From our campsite, this is one of two ridges between us and Deep Lake. The 2nd one apparently has wild horses on it, as we would later see.

A game of soccer was started, and the girls were on opposite teams. Much laughter ensued.

Sitka and Ebey - very mismatched in size, but best friends. These two are hysterical together.

Out for a walk with the dogs. Not quite 10 in the morning, and already very hot outside.
