Both Moms were gone for a few days, so Daver and I thought it would be fun to let the kids burn some energy and enjoy the outdoors. We started on our first day at Franklin Falls on Snoqaulmie Pass. It is a very short little hike (we accidentally found a parking spot much closer than the designated parking lot) to a pretty water fall. The stream at this time of year was pretty mild, and the kids had fun playing in and around it.

On the second day we drove to nearby Flaming Geyser State Park. There was not much of a geyser there, but there was a play set, and some open ground. Judging by the smiles, the geyser was not missed too much.

At the "trailhead" for Franklin Falls. We lucked out on our parking, and did not have to walk far.
