We had a quick turn around from our prior trip (poor planning for the win!), and went to Fort Ebey State Park on Whidbey Island with friends. There was a small bonus here, as smoke from fires in BC had effected our air, and there was some relief from the smoke on Whidbey Island. We had a few relaxing days at the campground, enjoyed some walks, watched the kids perform an impromtu play, and had a great time.

We met another German Shepherd puppy in the park. Can you guess which is four months old (plus a day), and the other six months? Sitka is the young one here, though you can't tell.

The girls, as they seem to do when together, created and performed a couple of plays for us. They were pretty good - we were all laughing.
