We spent Labor Day weekend this year at Fort Ebey State Park, a new to us camping place. Though it did not seem that there was that much to do, we all had a great time hiking a little bit, riding our bikes around the campground and on the trails, and relaxing around the fire. We also hit the local tourist spots, Coupville, and Fort Casey State Park. Somewhere in there, we tried a few wines at Greenbank, as well. On Friday we went to Coupville, toured the town, and had some GREAT Split Pea Soup. The damp weather and a booth overlooking the water made it just about perfect.

Uncle Paul got to watch the kids while the mom's were away one morning, and Connor rode his bike without training wheels!

We stopped at Fort Casey State Park, the same place Moira & I camped at our Father Daughter trip this year.

There were six deer on the grass, not paying attention to anyone else around them.

Indian Island is on the right I believe, and Fort Flagler State Park, the camping area at least, is dead center of the picture.

Fort Warden, and Port Townsend beyond it.
