Just after school was let out in June we travelled to Kauai and spent ten days relaxing and seeing the local sites. We started on the south side at Poipu Beach, and visited Waimea Canyon and other local sites. After five nights we travelled to the north side near Princeville, and stayed at Anini Beach. The north and south sides of the island are quite different, and between us, we were unsure which side we actually preferred.
