We usually try to go skiing somewhere when the kids are on their mid-winter break, and a past favorite has been Mission Ridge just south of Wenatchee. It normally has dry snow, no to very small lift lines, and excellent grooming. For some reason, we have not visited in a while, and decided to go back this year. Delaney took a friend this time, and I think everyone had a great time. We ski'd for two days, and covered most of the mountain, though Chair 4 was never open due to it being mid-week. We did later on at the end of the 2nd day get over to ski one of its runs though.

This little section in here, and a small jump preceding it, would become a constant part of my existence for the next day.

This was also a constant - the girls attempting to dust me. Audrey here.

Just next to the quad (chair 2) is a double, chair 3. This chair doesn't go as high as the quad, but serves some nice terrain.

Looking from the top of chair 3 towards bomber bowl. Left of the edge of the rock/cliff line in the picture is where the wing is located.

"The Jump". Not sure why, but of the hundreds of jumps on the mountain, the girls quite often ended up at this one.
