We usually try to go skiing somewhere when the kids are on their mid-winter break, and a past favorite has been Mission Ridge just south of Wenatchee. It normally has dry snow, no to very small lift lines, and excellent grooming. For some reason, we have not visited in a while, and decided to go back this year. Delaney took a friend this time, and I think everyone had a great time. We ski'd for two days, and covered most of the mountain, though Chair 4 was never open due to it being mid-week. We did later on at the end of the 2nd day get over to ski one of its runs though.

Collision number two. Not sure how this one came about, but the same end result - much laughter.

We finally found it! The Cave, or sometimes referred to as Propeller Mans Cave. It is below the bomber chutes off of Ka-Wham. It takes a bit to get to it - including a little up hill tracking.

She was also the 1st to notice the glowing eyes. Could this be Propeller Man? Someone put a skeleton in the cave, with flashing red eyes. Pretty awesome.

The end of day 1 on the mountain, and we are back at our rental house. The kids are feeding the donkeys here, and having a blast.

The beginning of Day 2, and we start off with a little fresh powder, and fresh cord. We immediately went to the top again.
