We usually try to go skiing somewhere when the kids are on their mid-winter break, and a past favorite has been Mission Ridge just south of Wenatchee. It normally has dry snow, no to very small lift lines, and excellent grooming. For some reason, we have not visited in a while, and decided to go back this year. Delaney took a friend this time, and I think everyone had a great time. We ski'd for two days, and covered most of the mountain, though Chair 4 was never open due to it being mid-week. We did later on at the end of the 2nd day get over to ski one of its runs though.

Today we got to ski with Chloe (niece/cousin) quite a bit, and she did a great job keeping up.

We have traversed over from Ka-Wham, and are looking across this small gully/bowl, through the tree line, and to the rocks near the left of the picture. The cave is on the right side of these rocks. To avoid a deep gully in between though, you have to hit the trees and turn left.

Mind you, this ski area has 2,000 acres of terrain, and a 2,250 ft vertical drop. Space for LOTS OF JUMPS. But NO! We have to keep COMING BACK TO THIS ONE!

The girls have found a cat track, and half way down we have some trees, and rocks. Very very big rocks.
