This Spring Break for the kids, we took took an overnight trip to Orcas Island to take in the sites and have some fun. We took Juneau with us, and she had a great time riding around and seeing the sites. We visited Moran State Park on Orcas, and though we didn't get to climb the tower due to a closure, we did get to see quite a few other sites in the park. We stayed at West Beach on the (wait for it) west side of the island, and had a great time. Funny enough, the best grocery store on the island wasn't in the largest town, but just off the ferry dock.

This is the best pic of the three, but here we are on the start of a quick overnight trip to Orcas Island.

We arrived at the ferry dock early, and killed some time on the beach.

Back in the car, and waiting in line to get on the ferry. Juneau loves riding in cars - I don't get it. It's a tie between that, and being tied up to a house trailer while camping. Having a massive yard to run around in apparently doesn't compare.

Here we are approaching the Lopez Island ferry dock. After this, we had one stop on Shaw Island, and then Orcas.

After a quick stop in Eastsound for lunch, we headed to Moran State Park. I think here that the kids may have been in the car too long.
