On Saturday of Labor Day Weekend in 2023 we intended to visit Sunrise in Mt. Rainier National Park, but were blocked from entering the park due to an insane number of cars waiting to get in. We then decided to drive a little farther up 410 to Tipsoo Lake, and had a great little hike around Naches Peak.
