This was our 1st trip to Ike Kinswa State Park, on Mayfield Lake. It was a bit damp at times, and the park is in lots of trees, so it could be a bit dark. The lake was beautful though, and we got out in the canoe a few times. We explored the north end of the lake on two separate days with the canoe, and had a great time.

On Friday we took the canoe out with the girls to go exploring. This end of the lake is all owned by the State Park, so there are no houses up here.

When the last motor boat left, we could hear a small water fall on the opposite shore. Why not check it out!

Canoing east of the stream, the lake narrowed into this deep channel. Farther along the walls became more vertical - quite a site.

On Saturday, because we had so much fun the prior day, we convinced Karen & Craig to come out with us. The weather was decidedly wet, but we had still had a great time.
